    No thunder or lightning here, but this little guy snuck through around 3 - 4 am and gave us 0.25". Heard some heavy rain for about a minute. Pleasant surprise!

    Funny you mention that, I ordered a battery powered snipper/loppers and it came yesterday. So I went to try it out and 2 hours later I was done for now - it has a snip counter and it was up to 1300 when I stopped, lol. Pretty cool tool, better than I had imagined. Kind of addictive. Left a lot of cleanup in my wake, lol. Needless to say I was drenched.

    90F here, with dp 75. Really enjoyed that break for the last 3 days. Some stuff popping to the west but pretty scattered so far.

    Agreed! Got another 0.75" from that last round, which makes the total here 2.75". Awesome, and didn't expect that much at all. More like hoping for something close to an inch.

    It's sagging south, just getting into it here, pretty vigorous! Severe warned also.

    Got a little thundershower earlier that put the total here over 1 inch since dusk, at 1.05". Yay hooray! Pretty muggy out, got the steamy windows going on.

    Been getting steady showers for the last 2 to 3 hours, with occasional lightning and thunder. Picked up 0.62" so far. Nice atmosphere for hanging on the porch!

    This fickle finger of rain thats been stretching up your way will probably miss you to the east, but you'll likely get a few drops. Picked up another 0.08" from it, total for the day is 0.49". Not bad really if you wanted some rain.

    Just had a little quick hitter here, about 0.20" of rain, and some solid lightning and thunder. Even lost power for a sec. Saw a few lightning bugs last night, good stuff. Acting like late May all of a sudden. Currently 69F here.

    This reminds me of 2 weeks ago, waiting for the back edge to get here, for doing outside stuff. This time it looks to be just about here, sure taking its time. Gonna be a compressed schedule lol. Humid too of course.

    Had some activity pop up sort of on front of the main batch - got windy, thunder and lightning a couple miles away, nice shower, but fast moving. Cool gust front out ahead of it on radar.

    Getting clipped by a thundershower here. Didn't expect to start this rain event off like this! Smells good too. Might have had one hailstone too, when the rain started, it was huge drops, but the very 1st one sounded like a stone hit the gutter, lol.
