Radar not as impressive over me right now but snow rates have not decreased. A sign we still have decent dynamics even out this way. Somewhere in HOCO/MOCO is going to Jack imo.

up to 2.5" of new snow. Living on the edge with this band but holding steady with heavy fluffy dendrites falling.

You are probably right...But, looks like there may be a sharp dif between epic rates and mix/rain....that will keep us glued.

Pretty good agreement for a high qpf producer and a big arctic high to clash somewhere in our vicinity. Trend has been to shove things south as we approach short range this year. I like where we are now....

Speaking of epic...both 0z and 06 gefs with an impressive look. Surprised not to see much of a suppression look on the ind gefs.... Other than relentless arctic cold what would your thoughts be on a look like this?

I know this probably belongs in banter but I had to share the visual. FV3 is out to lunch but I dont ever recall seeing something like these temps modeled....even in fantasy range. Just indicative of the wild weather on the way..

Yea...you are probably right. I havent quite given up on 1-2"....will be interesting to see. I'm sure the radar will be frustrating to watch..

Steady mod/hvy snow. 28/27 As of 1230am 3.1" otg .21" qpf. The steady fluffy dendrites have added up ...roughly 15:1 avg

Nice band incoming from the west....brief lull right now. Hoping to hit 2.5" by midnight.....may be a stretch tho
