    About 3.25" for the event so far, 46F/DP 44F. Given the dry summer, I was worried there wouldn't be much color to the foliage this year. Hopefully this rain helps out in that regard.

    I was thinking if we can get more rain next week, not only will it help with the drought, but it will also help restore soil moisture. If so, hopefully that can help take the edge off any late season heat. 75F/DP 60F

    Had a 5-minute downpour, perhaps the most exciting event of the summer. A few boomers mixed in but little in the way of wind. After a high of 91F, sitting at 72F now.

    The nuns would march us down to the water fountain and count to 5 as we drank. If she got to 6, you got smacked in the back of the head. Good times! 75F/DP 72F...distgustable!

    It's been raining 5 feet from my house for about a 1/2 hour now. Oh well, knocked my temp down from a high of 87F to 81F.
