  1. My temp isn't bad at 69F, but the 69F DP kinda sucks.
  2. Got back up to 81F before the clouds moved in. Dumping here now. Some thunder but not much wind.
  3. Quite a difference over a relatively short distance, only make it to 78F here. Light rain has moved in.
  4. Got down to 71F overnight. Of course my DP is 71F , so there's that. Anyway... Happy July 1: Katydids and cicadas emerge Daylight begins to decrease NFL training camps open 83 days until fall!
  5. Gust front just came through with a nice shelf cloud. Temp down to 85F.
  6. 96F, topping yesterday's 95F. Still plenty of time to add on to that.
  7. I’m not using my kerosene heater atm, he’s welcome to it.
  8. PS: My DP hasn't bopped much. It's been hovering around 75F the last day or so.
  9. 91F at noon today, a degree up from yesterday at this time. The only thing making this bearable is knowing it ends today.
  10. Touched 95F, now down to 94F. DP is 75F. Stuck my hand out to get the mail, that's the extent of my outdoor activity today.
  11. 90F at noon compared to 87F at this time yesterday. Got to 93F yesterday and that was with occasional clouds overhead. Full sun today, so 95F+ looks like a safe bet.
  12. Back in the day, we’d have bottle rocket wars with the kids on the other side of Darby creek. We’d wrap ours in Play Doh and cover them with bb’s. Yeah, we were sick freaks.
  13. Yeah, getting fringed by the blob. A friend in Kulpsville says it’s pouring there.
  14. I wouldn’t mind getting hit by the blob, it’s getting dry out there again. Kicked up a lot of dust while mowing today. It doesn’t take much for that solstice sun to bake moisture out of the soil.
  15. 84F/DP 71F With the clouds and breeze it didn’t totally suck out there today. Still, I’m happy to be back in the AC.
  16. So glad I held off on the yard work so I could take advantage of the 70+ DPs this weekend. 77F/DP 70F
  17. Been watching the heat ridge build in the Pac NW. I've often thought that might be a nice place to retire to. Sure, I'd have to give up on snow chances, but it might be worth it to avoid the heat & humidity of summer. NOPE! Scratch that off the list. I only understand about 10% of what HM posts, but he has a theory about the Hadley cell being displaced further north as a possible culprit for the heat up there in recent years. Anyway... Another awesome night of sleeping weather, got down to 54F overnight. Enjoy it while it lasts.
  18. Yeah, after last June's derecho and having a crap ton of trees taken out, I'm down for a quiet severe season. Feels like the front moved through. Still a bit sticky out there but DP down to 63F.
  19. Amazing how a DP of 69F can make a temp of 70F feel so miserable. Picked up .20" yesterday/overnight. Looks like we'll be adding to that later on. Anything to keep the lawn green for another week.
  20. Only got down to 74F overnight. Currently 75F with a DP of 72F. Hoping the clouds linger to keep the temps in check today. Waiting on steamy window updates from Agnes.
  21. Showers moving in, made it up to 86F beforehand. Now down to 79F with a DP of 70F. P.S. Glad to see the Cherry Hill radar is working again
  22. Picked up .10" overnight. Missed out on storms this week, it was starting to get dry again. Hopefully we'll add a little more to the rain bucket this afternoon. As Birds said, you can feel the change in the air mass this morning. AC goes back on today 73F/DP 68F
  23. Obviously there was a glitch in the Matrix a few years ago that allowed the Eagles to win the Super Bowl. But order has been restored to the universe and we're back to teams of azz.
  24. As Ji would say, that map is meteorologically impossible. Another night of great sleeping weather, 67F/DP 45F.
  25. I love how the article says "snow is considered rare this time of year". "Rare" but not "unheard of"...lol! Maybe I'll retire to Iceland. How difficult could it be to pick up the language?? 67F/DP 53F...beautiful sleeping weather last night.
