  1. Let's send a package Phil and Ben Simmons to the NYC forum for cash and a poster to be named later.
  2. Looks like I'll top out at 67F today. Don't mind the warm days this time of year, save some on the heating bill. Got months of 33 and rain ahead to burn through my heating oil.
  3. The batteries in my weather station died overnight. So I'll go with it got cold. Plenty of frost again this morning, as well.
  4. Got down to 36F here as well. Nice covering of frost on everything. Not enough to kill ALL the bugs, but it's a start!
  5. Don’t know about 1947 but looks like a bunch of ratters followed those October’s.
  6. Hearing thunder. 10/30…where is fall??
  7. Got lucky enough to see them from my backyard in 2003. Fingers crossed for tonight!
  8. Ended up with .80”, plenty of branches down this morning. Guess wind season is here. Shaping up to be a nice day. Sun is poking out, 63F.
  9. Yeah, mildly surprised we weren’t under a wind advisory. Guess we didn’t meet the criteria, but the trees are pretty much full of leaves still. And now that that first heavy rain band has moved through, the winds have shut off. .40” so far.
  10. PLEASE, no accumulating snow before Thanksgiving. That usually signals a dead ratter of a winter is on the way.
  11. Given it's a Nina winter, we may be looking at a parade of Miller B screw jobs. However... In my fantasy snowstorm yesterday, we got 1-2 feet while SNE had changeover issues all the way back to Worcester thanks to screaming easterly winds.
  12. Yeah, reading through that thread. Sounds like the SE part of the state got smashed!
  13. Looks like 2.00" on the nose for a total. Breezy out there this morning, should help dry things out today.
  14. Nice lake effect streamer moving through Montco. Winds starting to pick up, too. Let the blowing & drifting commence! 55F/DP 54F
  15. Good luck! A friend just texted to say her 100lbs German Sheppard is in her lap
  16. Wow! Definitely one of the better thunderstorms in some time! I can't verify, but it sure sounded like a few pingers were mixed in.
  17. Seeing lightning off to my south. I see Mount Holly is letting the current warning expire.
  18. Nothing like reading through pages of Met bullpen discussion to find out how much for Philly
  19. That, and it's been pretty dry since Ida.
  20. Finally felt confident enough to wrap up the AC for the season...about a month later than I used to. It was odd being out last evening after 8pm in shorts and a t-shirt. Sure didn't feel like 10/21. I know it never works out this way, but my inner weenie is hoping we're using up the warm pattern now before winter sets in. (But yeah, not seeing any positive signs/outlooks so far.) 64F/DP 51F
  21. Let's hope! I'm taking the fall excursion ride on the New Hope RR this Saturday. Sure would be nice to get some more color in the canopy by then.
  22. Just had a mini gust front blow through, guessing 35-40mph range. Could feel an immediate change in the air mass outside.
  23. 78F. Thought cloud cover might keep us from reaching 80F today. Maybe not.
