I thought JB said volcanoes would cool the climate with all the ash they dump into the atmosphere. Wish he’d make up his mind.

Hopefully he’s in a NyQuil induced coma.

No snow on the ground, Eagles playing like crap…not enjoying 2023 so far

Happy New Year! Yes, let's start by getting some flakes in the air, hopefully we'll have things to track as we get deeper into Jan.

Pea soup continues unabated with drizzle, 51F. Always amazed at the morons driving w/o headlights on

Best to Birds and Ralph! I had a respiratory thing a few weeks ago, no fever fortunately. Best part was pulling a muscle in my ribcage from coughing. After that, every sneeze, cough and nose blow was an adventure in pain. Back to weather...12z GFS almost blues on us 1/6. Yeah, won't happen but beats tracking Pac puke.

Wear light, loose-fitting clothes and remember to drink plenty of fluids. 54F

The only thing going on in that forum is a 300-level statistics course A gorgeous sunny, 53F out there today. Heater catching a nice break after working overtime.

1. Correct! 2. I was 14 in 1980 and seem to recall snow just before Christmas that year...either the 23rd or 24th. Thank you for confirming I didn't imagine that.

Not sure what the coldest in my house has been. I went w/o power for a week after Sandy, so I’m guessing low 50’s? Yeah it was fun talking cold showers in a cold bathroom. -

Seriously…that’s when you run out to buy bread, milk and eggs! Hope they don’t lose power. Even with a home generator, I imagine you would have to clear snow from around it every few hours. -

Bottomed out at 4F. Very impressive when you consider the breezy conditions overnight and no snow pack. -

Wow…glad it didn’t land on anything! P.S. That the saddest looking snow pile (puddle) I’ve ever seen. Reminds me of when Frosty went into the hothouse. -
The big ones always get sniffed out early.

About 1.40” for the event total. Cold chasing precip rarely works out, so I’m glad there’s white on the ground just before Christmas. 24F/DP 19F -

18z NAM still has a quick shot of snow moving through around noon tomorrow. -
Should I start my Christmas shopping tonight in the relatively mild rain or tomorrow in the cold sunshine? Trying to get it done before New Year's this year.
