    They probably forgot to ingest new data But seriously, my point was there were some posts about suppression yesterday, which I can't understand why anyone would worry about that 7+ days out. Anyway... CMC has wrap around snows for us next weekend, so we got that going for us!

    The only thing I've learned in this hobby is I'm amazed it ever snows at all (considering the chain of events that has to line up perfectly). There's an old joke in cosmology that the only thing physicists have managed to prove studying the universe is that we probably shouldn't exist. 42F, light rain

    Too early to declare it a ratter but I have that same sinking feeling I had last Sunday watching the Saints opening drive.

    It's a great question. I know some back in the summer were suggesting it was a warm signal for this winter, including HM. I'm sure lots of papers will be written on it in the years to come.

    Best to Birds and Ralph! I had a respiratory thing a few weeks ago, no fever fortunately. Best part was pulling a muscle in my ribcage from coughing. After that, every sneeze, cough and nose blow was an adventure in pain. Back to weather...12z GFS almost blues on us 1/6. Yeah, won't happen but beats tracking Pac puke.

    Not sure what the coldest in my house has been. I went w/o power for a week after Sandy, so I’m guessing low 50’s? Yeah it was fun talking cold showers in a cold bathroom.

    Seriously…that’s when you run out to buy bread, milk and eggs! Hope they don’t lose power. Even with a home generator, I imagine you would have to clear snow from around it every few hours.

    Bottomed out at 4F. Very impressive when you consider the breezy conditions overnight and no snow pack.
