  1. I do feel pretty good here. Coastal CT is still my concern. Not exactly what I’d do down there yet but I’d probably go 4-8 for interior CT. That hasn’t really changed in my mind. Maybe 1-3 along immediate shoreline but if the euro is on the right track it’s probably 2-4 east and 4-8 for the rest for a first call.
  2. George saying goodbyes and bracing for the end like the captain of the Titanic. This thread is killing me lol Honestly nothing would make me happier than an epic comeback that shocks us all.
  3. I hear you, but look at Tuesday. Never underestimate fail potential in winter 2022-23.
  4. This is the most wintry day here since mid December
  5. This may be a Connecticut delegation only thread by then Dryslot wandering into the wilderness mumbling “I tried to tell them about the block” Ray throwing the kids toys into the Merrimack TFizz putting the house up for sale and looking to relocate to Florida Georgie looking for other weather boards to call sheared out shortwaves potentially historic blizzards Kev smilin’
  6. Probably my favorite post of the year. Those are memories you don’t forget.
  7. There’s a fair amount of data out there that shows more accidents happen in minor snow than the bigger ones. People don’t drive for conditions when it’s light snow.
  8. I think we’re still ok here in CT, but it looks like it may be a matter of time before it’s just us in this thread and everyone else has moved on to the next D7+ fantasy. Beautiful outside today with SN and temps in the teens. How winter should be.
  9. Amazing what can happen when it’s cold outside. Nice little accumulation here.
  10. You wouldn’t know it based on our immediate shoreline followers lol. Agree. It’s really all relative.
  11. SW CT has found ways to squander good setups for years. I always worry about them. This is the time where I actually have to get serious. Will be doing our first map in two and a half months later today when I have time.
  12. Still worried about ticking warmer near game time if this trends north, but I think northern CT is in good shape. Would probably hedge conservative near the shoreline.
  13. Sorry brother, only care about my people in CT. We’ve been through enough. I’m sure Ray is rooting for you to clean up though. Too early to throw out numbers, but my bar is minimal warning level imby, which I think is reasonable given the totality of the guidance.
  14. 100%. Any hint of some CCB would raise the ceiling again. Just have to get the other guidance to buy a more aggressive solution. I’m still not all in, and probably won’t be until Sunday, but this is the best spot we’ve been in down here in CT since early December.
  15. Widespread warning level verbatim, even with southern CT taint.
  16. Middle finger up the CTRV, but it’s a warning level system verbatim here. Nice event as modeled.
  17. The clown maps are a step back in CT on weather models.com Not a lot of good parameters on the site for this model.
  18. I will say, having the once excommunicated pontiff back in the fold feels good.
