It’s starting to get that look, deny if you want, but it is what it is. I bet most major SNE stations finish the season 15-25% below normal snowfall, at least.

Hopefully it is just rushing the change, not delaying until May. At some point we’re going to need to see a good look move in closer

Nobody is jumping ship. Call it what it is. Looks like dung for a while longer, at least. There has been enough turd polishing in here over the last few weeks. We have nada to show for it, and likely nothing moving toward for a good while too.

EPS in the long range look pretty average at best... I honestly don’t think it’s a great look, but low skill that far out. I wouldn’t be surprised if this turns into a wake me up mid-late month deal and see where we are at. This storm at the end of the week isn’t a terribly good look for SNE at least. Maybe NNE can score

North Conway is a nice area to stay. All kinds of lodging and different food categories. Ifs a good jump off for a bunch of mountains too. I like cranmore, and it’s a great mountain for a beginner. Green trails all over and even some nice wide and winding greens coming down from the top. My fiancé is a beginner and hesitant, i have taken her to king pine a few times. Pretty small place but a lot of easy terrain that isn’t too daunting. It’s about a half hour ride from North Conway area. Its cheaper, and you just might avoid the huge crowds there

Save a horse... the knockoff gfs is fun to look at and would be a big storm here but wake me up when the euro even shows something close to that.

We had a rogue half foot in November and 2 traces in the nearly two months since. I don’t think anyone could or would argue this winter has been all time suck so far. We have a lot of ground to make up. I’m skeptical that we keep doing this every year, eventually, we won’t pull it out. Well see, long way to go, but I understand the frustration. Another holiday season flushed and heading into Jan with nothing positive on the horizon, at least in the medium term. Is what it is.

I’d say anything before mid January is a win here, given the look over the next 2 weeks+. our climo is only a little over 40” here... so it won’t take much, even if it takes until late Jan to get going. Like I said a few days ago... long range looks okay... not good, not bad.

One model shows anything even remotely wintery for these parts. Calling for a light snow event is being dishonest about the look right now. Unless you are riding the para gfs 100%, that’s not what anything shows. It is what it is. I’m sure we’ll have more chances after the New Year, but that particular system isn’t going to get it done

We’ve become spoiled. Just about every pattern, even meh ones, have produced great results for the last 7-10 years (save 2011-12). We’ve been on a pretty big hot streak. It wouldn’t surprise me even a little if we fail to produce in a good pattern in the near future. Whether that’s this year or several years from now, who knows Were due, that’s not up for debate.

The long range pattern looks okay in my eyes. Not bad.. not great... I think we’ll have our chances but I definitely wouldn’t call it full steam ahead, at least not yet.

Yeah... 2013 had a couple of SWFE that came close.. but I don’t think got there. For as good a run as we’ve been on... it goes unnoticed how bad December has been for the better part of a decade here.
