  1. I’m fully expecting a 7/10 split, or local screw zone here. A lot of these runs have the best consistently well west of here.
  2. Tomorrow will probably be a couple hundredths locally. Best is west
  3. So we are actually only spending about $800-$1000 dollars on propane a year, our system is pretty efficient as it’s a new house. Is a heat pump basically just a type of mini split?
  4. Looks Like Stein for the usual suspects in eastern ma. Western areas have a shot
  5. I literally can’t find a single projection for this winter. @BrianW ??
  6. Are we sure about that? Seems like everything is still dropping. I don’t want to get caught with my pants down, but I also don’t want to fill now if it’s still going to keep dropping
  7. Any energy folks here want to take a stab at what I should do? have a 500 gallon underground propane tank… has about 20% or a hundred gallons left. Should I fill with prices now or wait until later in the winter? Any chances prices will be lower then? Given my usage history; what’s in the tank will last me probably until at least Christmas; probably into January
  8. Good to hear from you, Will. Thought you may have stopped posting here.
  9. I want to overseed my lawn but there is absolutely no way I can do it if we aren’t going to have rain.
  10. I heard similar about this week. Fade the rain
  11. “I didn’t water my newly planted hydrangeas, and they died. This is definitely indicative of serious drought”.
  12. This proves my point though. Call it a local max or whatever, it’s still significantly less than Tolland over a sample size longer than 2 weeks
  13. The closest station to me is 1.36… Kevin over 4. A better representation for me is easton or Raynham. I literally couldn’t be any further from the Taunton site. It’s 10+ miles from me
  14. An inch a half of rain 2 weeks ago puts me in a local high? Arent we using like actual sample sizes? Not two weeks? Those maps look fine to me. Drought sample size isn’t two weeks. this is all mostly in jest, but it seems silly that I’m suddenly good to go after having almost no rain for 4 months
  15. You need serious work on your geography. AWT… Taunton is in a worse drought than Tolland.
  16. Congrats on more rain than me today. We salute you.
  17. Did Kevin hack your account? Nothing like taking a two week sample when we had like an inch and a half since May. The rain we did get came in a thunderstorm that lasted 20 mins… so a pretty useless rainfall. I think you’re doing okay, those Stowe rec fields look like Augusta National.
  18. Nah… a nice soaking 0.06”… drought cancel
  19. 0.06” here… that is the equivalent of nothing in my book.
  20. To be fair, almost every model was downright putrid with this system. Every model showed significant rain for a good portion of the area within the last 36 hours. I mean, some models had over 2” here 12 hours ago and we got barely anything measurable
  21. That slug isn’t making it anywhere near here. I got .01 and I’m done.
