    Our little Chihuahua mix is turning 11 in Feb. knock on wood she’s doing pretty well. Not as nimble and quick as she one was, but to be expected. Met a guy the other day with a Chihuahua mix that’s pushing 20. We can only hope

    I don’t remember getting squat here in 2012. I’d agree, even for the meager numbers we put up, one event over 4” over the last 20 years, we are probably due sooner rather than later for something

    Right… I’m talking more like 5+. We had 6” or so in November 18 and I can’t remember another multiple inch event at least back to 2000 here

    Yeah, this is a private street, the town doesn’t/won’t maintain it, it’s in all the documents from when they built the subdivision. ( Funny how we all still pay full taxes though, but that’s a story for another day). So we have an “association” $625 per year per household covers plowing, road repair, and insurance on the ~25 acres that we for some reason own around all the houses. We don’t have any issues, everyone knows they have to pay it, it is what it is at this point

    I’m not sure what the return on November snow is here, but I feel like I’m the grand scheme, we are due. Outside of Nov 18, I can’t recall a November snow event here, at least not in the last 20 years. That was more than a coating or flurries.

    Anyone here live on line a small side street that pays for their own plowing? we have a plow guy who has done our streets for years. I haven’t been able to get ahold of anyone for a quote just to compare. he charges 120 per 2 inches and 105 per inch after 10”. 2 small streets, 14 houses. Salt and sand treatment 220 per treatment
