  1. I chased throughout the day today in PA. Absolutely amazing. Tornado warnings were poping up left and right. I'm assuming there will be at least two or three confirmed tornados. Probably 15 or 20 tornado warnings. Edit: went back to @nwstornado Twitter account and counted 68 tornado warnings in PA alone.
  2. Potential for some severe weather Tuesday from Ohio into the Northeast.
  3. Been thinking that all day. This is a Hudson Valley north and east day.
  4. I think even that is a stretch. Looks like the hudson valley and points north and east of there will do well. I think New Hampshire and Massachusetts have the best chance of severe weather IMO.
  5. Hoped to get around more today with my camera but traffic was just unbearable. Here is a photo from Brooklyn around 7:00PM as the storms moved out of the area.
  6. Yep. Nothing crazy but definitely noticeable rotation across the area in the past hour.
  7. The HRRR is quite interesting for the next couple of hours. It develops some pretty intense thunderstorms. Sounding also support a quick spin up tornado in and around NYC. We have a better chance at severe weather today than we do tomorrow even though tomorrow is a slight by the SPC lol
  8. I was up in Allegany County this weekend. Woke up to a refreshing 44 degrees this morning.
  9. Nice little thunderstorm along the shore with broad rotation.
  10. You can see it has had broad rotation for the past hour but its starting to tighten up a bit. I am sure they are contemplating issuing a TOR warning shortly if continued.
  11. A little rotation in that severe cell in Jersey. We are down in VA on our way back from NC and there are tornado warnings poping up everywhere down here. Almost like a mini outbreak with a few confirmed on the ground that caused damage.
  12. The sad part is we stood in the eyewall when it came ashore with a crap ton of 80 and 90 mph gusts and a max of 105. It was legit hard to walk in it. But now no one will believe that. Anyway, chasing this hurricane was pretty amazing. Once I compile all my footage I'll share It here.
  13. This is what we experienced while driving through the Eyewall of Hurricane Florence. Dozens of transformers exploding followed by almost instant power outages.
  14. I shot this between 130 and 2 in topsail. We couldn't get further than pretty much the base of the bridge. The main roadhad high water
  15. I'm in Seagate, not far from wilmington and I'm seeing a lot of transformers going off. Wind really picking up the last 20 minutes.
  16. If anyone is interested my self and a fellow chaser from long island (@weathergoingwild) are live in NC. www.twitch.tv/nycstormchaser
  17. We are heading down Tuesday morning. Probably to the Wilmington area.
  18. Depends on the two troughs. The first one can and very well may bring it out to sea completely without affecting any land. If that does not happen and it gets closer to the East Coast there is a chance the second trough picks it up. A lot of variables. I'd say about 20% chance of it hitting the east coast as of recent model runs.
