Will be getting that 6-9” just from tonight, if not more. That’s on top of whatever falls this morning and such. The warning is coming in a few hours.

Was out doing photography all day yesterday on the Lake Michigan shore. This is locked and loaded for Detroit. Already got 1.1” as of 7am. Looks like tonight should bring an easy 6-10” at least. Very excited!

About 6” or so. Felt like deep winter this morning shoveling yesterday’s fluff in the cold temps. Snow tomorrow should be pretty fluffy too, so shoveling won’t be super bad. Already at 8.8” for the month (8.3” at DTW), so if this week works out then we’re heading into a top 10 February probably

Anyway..trend is undeniable here. Should be by far the biggest event of the season. Snow emergency is essentially guaranteed at this point so will be swamped at the city doing snow removal. Bring it on

Pure fluff along 696 rn. Currently near 2" with a little more to go. Nice little event that's easy to measure.

Dad has 9” of system+LES so far today. Continues to steadily snow. Plus “Two foot drifts walking down to the river by neighbors driveway” Actually his plow guy decided now was a cool time to take a vacation in Florida (???) so he’s scrambling to find another plow company. The driveway isn’t paved (yet) so can’t just run a snow blower down it.

Definitely is the major fly in the ointment. Will be riding a line between enough energy transferring away that this isn't more than 1-2" here, and something that is 4"+. Certainly wouldn't go big if I was forecasting at some agency. But this is amwx, so throwing out a weenie call.

I'd take that HRRR run all day. Low gets cranking as it over CLE and is a great hit for the SEMI crew. Feeling optimistic with this one. Felt good for the last storm too and it played out how I thought it would. Bring it First call: 5"

Inject all of these heavy snow vids into my veins. Need more goods the next couple events Added a couple tenths last night for a 12hr total of 3.6”. Good event.

Very solid event here. Have 3.4” so far, and hopefully will add a little more if the defo band clips us. As mentioned earlier, the rates were insane. Most of that fell in about 1.5 hours. Already had strong winds inside the snow, now waiting for the real westerlies to kick in and flash freeze everything. Shoveled a bit ago specifically so everything isn’t frozen. I’m up to 26.0” on the season. Of course, obligatory video:

At 3.1" so far. Should be able to get another inch or so with the cold front. Best event of the season.

Wish I lived in the hills. But still think I’m far enough north to not have to worry so much. Kinda glad I’m sick right now so I don’t have to be up early Friday morning to clear snow

It was either Bettes or Seidel. I was in downtown having fun in the snow and talked to him. Most recent time someone from TWC was in Michigan was when the dams collapsed in Edenville and Sanford
