That was taken the day after all the ice fell....soooo no.

Pre treating, better safe than sorry is how almost all states and DPWs play it now because the politicians and residents give them so much crap if the roads are bad.

The wind kinda helps knock the ice off the trees.....like if you took a stick and shook it, the ice fractures and falls off. And then if it's even slightly windy during the storm, ice doesn't accumulate really.

Like the storms from yore. ... Rain for the cape, interior thump to IP, then NNE all big time snow

and even then.....I don't think they've ever had one that matched 2008 up this way into NH. Too close to the coast.

I can't see a 1/3" of ice doing much. We always think there's going to be a ton of ZR leading up to these events....and then it's like nothing.
