Near KOWD and it doesn't look like much on radar, but just saw an impressive CG strike to the northwest of me.

Yep. Kinda like earlier in the evening up in the metro area. Lightning, thunder, torrential downpours, and a little bit of wind, but not severe.

Bah... Game called. Cell blew up right over the field and the stuff behind it made the field unplayable.

At a softball field in Wellesley just north of the storm. Lots of thunder, but it looks like it'll stay south of us?

Drove through that cell at the 3/93 split. Heavy rain, lots of lightning, but nothing being blown around from what my passenger and I could see.

Not chasing on purpose, but heading up to Loudon this morning. Hopefully things stay further north until after 6:00pm, but latest HRRR run cuts it close.

I don't ask questions like this much and it's hard for me to tell from the meso models, but does the line push past where the BD is and inside 128? (We have outdoor plans around 6:00 and don't want to be caught off-guard.)
