Man, the atmosphere just finds any excuse possible to rain here this summer. Overall it was a very nice warm summer day here.

Respect all Beer styles if they are made well. New England style IPAs are actually one of the easier libations for a brewer to cover their mistakes with to the non-refined palates.

I would say get ready for several months of boring. Hopefully it’s at least dryer and pleasant.

I think I am over 25” since June 1. In general, this summer has been joyless weather in W MA. Hopefully we get a nice autumn.

Finally a nice beach day on the outer Cape. Plenty of sea puppies at Head of the Meadow. They were coming within 20 feet of shore and right up to sone swimmers.

Lots of flooded streets in P-town. Sidestreets had water almost up to our car door.

Been a dud severe season in W MA. Plenty of hydro issues tho’…

We made the best of the Provincetown fog with a cookout and fire at Head of the Meadow. After sunset there was some of the best bioluminescence I’ve ever seen in the waves!

Thankfully less than .25” here. in other news I haven’t had to put on the air conditioner for weeks. I can’t wait to compare the August electric bill to the July bill.

I don't love humidity but it does feel nice tonight with windows wide open. I embrace it this time of year knowing that we move towards fall. Also have not had the AC on in weeks because any humidity has been tolerable. (I have had it on in the car though)

I drive over this bridge almost every day during the school year. The sky this afternoon caught my eye.

Swamp maples in the valley are turning a bit also.

Epic rains in NE MA don’t have nearly the impact they have in W MA.

Summer's back is broken. Have only used occasional AC the past 2 weeks. Yeah, it will be swampy again but this was not a summer of record heat and won't be with regards to high temperatures. Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoy summer and warm weather but it has been a wet humid mess and the only thing impressive have been the rainfall totals. I'm really hoping for a warm, dry, Sept/Oct.
