  1. Early last week I was sitting in the kitchen and yelled to my wife and kid to come look at the yellow snow falling, just a fog of yellow in the air every time the wind blew. Oddly, although my wife has some pretty bad allergies, that is not one of them.
  2. I can actually get the yard done faster with a walk behind, just a lot more sweat involved.
  3. We were all working but this will go down as a top 10 for 2018. Mildly warm and perfectly dry.
  4. I wonder what the real number of deaths in Texas were from Harvey? A woman I know in Greenfield has a nephew in the Texas National Guard and he claimed the death toll was in the hundreds but I thought the official count was only 70 or something.
  5. Actually interesting to watch the radar down there. Living in WNE I am not accustomed to t-storms moving E -> W.
  6. I was sitting home watching the video feed of Dead and Co. from Camden NJ and in the middle of the 2nd set the band got pulled off stage for a severe thunderstorm warning.
  7. Yeah and the Seminole Indians used to migrate out of Florida for that season.
  8. One of the Greenfield Wundeground stations is 82/72 yuck
  9. Northampton was actually a great GTG, that was like 20+ folks.
  10. They came to Northampton once like eight years ago. Maybe once the casino opens in Springfield we have a shot of getting the eastern folks here?
  11. This was always a WNE favored set up but will be meh' for most outside of CT.
  12. Looked good on radar but did not produce. I think Tip said earlier that RT 2 corridor was a long shot for any real severe after that first line went through.
  13. 0-3 on the severe. Had a 10 minute monsoon from the cell that just moved through but very little lightning and almost no wind. These things keep looking like they are coming in hot and just fade as they approach CT River. I don't love severe but was at least hoping for a good light show or some hail.
  14. The cell in Franklin Co once again fell apart as it approached the river. 0-2 on severe so far today. Fine with me. Couple of CG and some rumbles.
  15. That line that came across the Berkshires fell apart over Franklin County. Got about three minutes of moderate rain in downtown Greenfield, sprinkle at my house. No thunder, no lightning, no wind.
  16. That line fell apart in a hurry. It moved straight towards Franklin County and then just died. I got a 30 second sprinkle.
  17. Looks pretty meh up on the MA/VT border. Fine with me as we have soccer this evening.
