  1. Lol 140F "real feel". Just ridiculous. https://www.intellinews.com/dubai-heatwave-temperature-feels-like-62-c-as-scientists-explain-extreme-conditions-334174/
  2. Actually I think @AstronomyEnjoyermight be correct with Wycoff.
  3. Severe is the one thing W MA does well relative to the rest of SNE.
  4. YTD probably not but 365 days has to be a record. My records are not completely accurate but between Memorial day and Halloween of 2023 I was definitely over 40”. I’ll check when I get home but maybe closer to 50 inches.
  5. My house is the blue dot. Hopefully it’s going to miss here a bit to the south. Downtown Greenfield will be close though.
  6. At 429 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Plainfield, or 15 miles southwest of Greenfield, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Amherst, Greenfield, Deerfield, Montague, Hadley, Sunderland, Hatfield, Northfield, Williamsburg, Bernardston, Buckland, Conway, Shelburne, Leverett, Erving, Shutesbury, Ashfield, Colrain, Gill, and Whately.
  7. Except for that one cell just SW of Greenfield.
  8. The damage around Greenfield certainly would support 60 to 70 mph gusts here last night.
  9. Driving the boy to camp we saw a lot of damage on the north east side of Greenfield. Big branches and big trees down.
  10. I would be happy if it wasn’t a direct hit here again.
  11. West of the Rivet is generally best for severe in SNE. Can’t wait to see the local damage reports in the morning.
  12. Best severe I’ve seen in years. As you know I’m a little gun shy because I’ve had a few bad incidents but it’s still thrilling when you’re in it and somewhat safe.
  13. I took this about three minutes before I snapped that church photo I posted earlier.
  14. I thought the best goods were going to be north but then that line coming out of the Berkshires exploded.
  15. Live scanner reporting trees down everywhere. On my way home earlier, there was a branch down less than 20 feet from the tree fall that almost killed me a few years back. That spot has bad juju.
