  1. High end rollers need to keep expectations in check, there is a 3-4 hour window to really make hay with this before the mid-level warming becomes a spoiler. Get those rulers in before the pellets begin.
  2. Yeah, depending on how the euro and the meso's look in the morning I might lean close to warning up here.
  3. Welp, snow blower and genny tested and ready. This should be a decent kick off to winter season for the RT 2 corridor folk. I'm thinking 3-4" Greenfield, maybe a little more in the hills but probably pretty uniform with this type of event.
  4. Yep, it's too difficult to click on my NWS bookmark so I come here for all the details.
  5. T--blizz will b*tch his way to a record winter again.
  6. What's a reasonable expectation for start time with all of this?
  7. What is the monthly subscription rate for your site?
  8. Euro looks like 1-2" for interior SNE with some scattered 3" amounts in the usual spots.
  9. This should bomb snow for a while in the interior, good step in to winter.
  10. I'm already past a 1/4 cord of wood burned.
  11. Canadian has an early season bowling ball right of center but obviously we wait.
  12. Yeah, CMC verbatim would argue wide spread 6"+ across higher elevations, starting as wind swept powder.
  13. Yah' it wants to come under and then uppercut. Elevated interior could be easy advisory snows.
  14. Although this is not a pure swfe that's the signature.
  15. I think mid-level warmth has been the line to walk for a while but aren't the meso's always pretty quick out of the gate with the ml warm push?
  16. It's easy to be fragile in these parts. I have a good feeling about WNE this winter though.
  17. Our cosmic, hilltown yeti wood guy dropped by today to tell me he was dropping another cord tomorrow and to pay him "whenever". He said he "had a hunch we'd need it".
  18. Front end, interior thumper, seasonality in play, I would say upper elevations in W SNE good for 3-4" before freezing drizzle and deep interior lower elevations good for 1-2" before we wet. Either way it looks like winter cometh this week.
  19. If this works out the juju yoke will be riding your neck all winter for WNE snows. #ourturn
  20. Never ceases to amaze me how you and I run neck and neck with winter lows despite having 50mi difference in latitude. We are usually in sync. Bob also matches up pretty well.
  21. If you look at the progression of temps in the mid-levels, 850-700 warm pretty quickly even as the surface might have some CAD for a while.
  22. Probably just a period of sleet for some. I think surface temps probably come up above freezing pretty quickly once the mid-levels torch.
