Man, NW MA has, for whatever meteorological reason, lucked out this summer. It’s been hot but only four days total over 90 in Greenfield.
87/72 currently. I guess we have had cloud debris on most of the forecast hottest days.
82/65.
Heat distribution this summer has been odd. The Pioneer Valley can often do hot with the best of them, but this year there have been a lot of areas north, south and east of here that have had much more impressive temperatures. Maybe @ORH_wxman or one of the other mets has a good explanation?
All fantastic breweries and I mean that as somebody who is intimately involved in a brewery and craft beer.
Jacks Abby makes some of the best lagers in the United States.
Yeah, because we worked hard! It’s a little disconcerting knowing that tens of thousands of college students are coming back in a few weeks. My county is close to 0% ir right now but we have 5 colleges 20mi S of us.
Basically a private island owned by the Forbes family. What I wouldn’t give to be able to wander around out there for a few days. If you look at the water you can see how the current rips through Robinson Hole from Vineyard sound to Buzzards Bay.
Nice day out in Buzzards Bay. Did a coastal tour of the Elizabeth Islands.
Photos are Tarpaulin light (1891) on Naushon and free range cows we saw coming through Robinson Hole at Naushon point. What a gorgeous island!
Hopefully the wolf is no match for New England intellect and vigilance!

I wish everything from New York City north could just join eastern Canada as a separate country. LOL
j/k of course but I am proud of how the tri-state region and NE has responded.
