    I don’t know what was going on, my weather station is usually pretty on point with the local Davis stations and DP was bouncing from 64-70 all day. I’m guessing it had something to do with today’s heat and all of the rain we had this week.

    Sadly I have yet to go to their brewery! Building 8 IPA is a fine local example of a W Coast hybrid. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, after all these years, still sets the bar for West Coast.

    I think he is 4 years old, he and I go back to when he was a cub. His mother is a giant! I have not seen her or the yearlings this year and don’t want to. I have some pretty incredible footage of three generations of bears in our back wetland from May 2019. I’ll get it up on YouTube sometime in the near future and post it. My MA DEP friend lost her mind when she saw it.

    Greenfield is 68dp right now. We had a lot of moisture in the soil from all of the rain this week.

    If you go I-91 stop at Brattleboro Co-op, they have a beast selection of VT beers. Brick and Feather in Turners Falls is awesome. Peoples Pint in Greenfield (I work at their brewery) but only open for pick up Wednesday to Saturday right now, probably same for brick and feather.

    Same in Western Massachusetts. Rents from Northampton to Greenfield or Brattleboro are moving steadily up, which is terrible news for all of the poor and under employed folks who have lived here for a long time. Wehave a small two bedroom house on 3 acres and it’s gone up about 8k on Zillow in the past two months. I would rather not have my towns assessed value of my house move up, I pay enough property tax as it is.

    We have had some monster downpours here the past 2 weeks. It's like your back yard and mine flipped climates from June to July. lol
