    It's one of a kind. A quintessential April mountain and they had a tough winter in terms of snowfall. That area is also fantastic hiking in the summer. Saddleback/Rangely to the Bigelow Range is an epic stretch of the AT.

    Full disclosure, I was involved in the acupuncture and naturopathic community in Boston for many years. Living a really clean diet is difficult and I stray from it all the time. I also enjoy red meat, beer and chocolates from time to time. All things in moderation.

    One day a week fasting was something that was very common in traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurvedic medicine. Everyone should own a juicer. Fasting is not something that needs to be difficult. Doing just a day of only apples and grapes would benefit most people immensely. Powdered wheat grass, chlorella and spirulina in some water and cider is one of the best cleansers and is very safe.

    Had my first ever full body dermatology screening today, because my wife was worried about all my funky moles but everything was deemed “completely normal” by the doctor. Ah, life after 50.

    Hopefully your old neighborhood is in the game, I would love to be able to take a short drive to see accumulated snow on Saturday. I would be happy with a novelty coating in my yard but I don’t really need accumulating snow to deal with.
