CNN website is a pure Clickbait mine at this point. They have been carrying a lead story about the condo collapse for two weeks when it was obvious in the first 2 minutes there were no survivors.

Jeezuz, just looked at radar, crazy rain coming up through West Central CT. Showers have been training up through the CTRV all day, I'm expecting I'll be over 5" but maybe over 6" of rain by Sunday morning.

Just got to Northampton, the drive down from Greenfield was brutal. Basically solid sheets of water falling from the sky. It’s odd because the radar does not look that impressive but it was absolutely torrential rain all the way.

That sucks, I’m sorry to hear that. Perhaps as Tip said it might’ve been a safety kill feature. honestly, to me an eight year old car is not that old especially with only 125K on it. If the engine did seize, replacing the engine is certainly cheaper than buying a new car if the rest of it is in good shape.
