The pond ice in W MA is pretty solid, 4”+ of black ice. We definitely won’t lose it all but there will always be that layer of “punk ice”, even with a deep refreeze.
The upcoming stretch is our best legit snow pattern in a while. Let's hope we at least get one region-wide warning event for SNE. I like that period from 5th or 6th through mid-month. The weenies need this!
