  1. I would have to look at averages but NW MA, S VT and E NY Have to be pretty close. That actually encompasses a lot greater square mileage than your area also.
  2. Nobody cares about us in the northwest corner of Massachusetts. As long as E SNE gets snow, it’s all bread and f’n roses and everyone should be happy.
  3. My neighbor skied Pico yesterday and this morning and said Conditions were best of the year.
  4. Understandable for places Killington north I think Stratton and Mount Snow might’ve had massive icing issues yesterday. I’m just guessing but a friend of mine up in Westminster Vermont said there was half inch of ice at her place at about 1000 feet.
  5. Anyone know why Stratton has suspended lift ticket sales for tomorrow? Too much ice?
  6. Yikes, doesn't look like Mt Snow or Stratton got any snow. Major icing on the upper mountain according to Stratton twitter.
  7. Driving around Greenfield many parking lots and yards are flooded out. I’ll snap some pictures.
  8. Wow, big fat raindrops here with this last batch. 30F This storm absolutely sucks!
  9. At least hope for a heavy coating to brighten the landscape. It has done nothing here since noon. Franklin Co has a force field over it this winter, we can't buy frozen precip. lol
  10. The forecasts and closures in SNE are going to look fooish. The modeled cold push was real but it seemed to hit a wall in CNE. It came down the HRV ok but did not work out past Central VT or into the Ct River Valley. My friend in Putney Vt is at 900' and he said no snow there and only .5" sleet. I keep trying to get him to join the forum.
  11. Around 60" The hill towns around me average closer to 70" NW MA is having a terrible winter. Pathetic totals in the Berkshires. Berkshire East is at 20" on the season, luckily it's been cold for snow making.
  12. Precipitation pretty much shut off here an hour ago. What a disaster, Winter Storm Warning for barely a glaze of ice and .25" sleet. Greenfield Winter Carnival tomorrow will be pretty underwhelming. They will need to cancel half of the events.
  13. 21.5" in 2016. I need 6" to catch that.
  14. Radar getting ragged over NY/PA this will be done soon for western areas. Unfortunately, I don't see much more than a coating of ice and sleet for most posters in CT and W MA. Crap storm for SNE/CNE during peak snow season.
  15. Great storm for SR, Loaf and Saddleback. Over a foot of snow and little wind so all the trails getting filled in.
  16. Last night you could see the cold air just pouring down the HRV.
  17. I am on pace for an all time snow futility winter since we moved here in 2007. My last storm over 5" was December 2020.
  18. I'm still surprised how far N the mix went and how long it lasted. I thought sure Dendrite and Dryslot were good for some warning snows.
  19. Looks like a pretty big dry slot over central CT up through MA border.
  20. That's weird. Down to 30F here. Latent heat release from heavy rain there?
  21. You have that much? You must have flipped hours before W MA. Just a heavy coating here.
  22. It's going to be a mess from you to Central MA along RT 2. Frozen water logged snow in the yards, glazed driveways with .5" - 2" of sleet, frozen puddles and glazed sidewalks. Yuck. Fortunately, in Greenfield, we only had a minutes of freezing rain. Went from 32.2 to 31.5 in about 15 minutes and flipped to sleet.
  23. Well, it also often nails the precipitation moving out quicker than most other models.
