  1. Send it South, I'm all set. The realty is though, if it's pouring rain and 28F, my driveway may be a disaster but heavy precipitation will spare the trees and power lines.
  2. Zonked NAM and not in a good way? I’m on mobile so not looking at the models.
  3. Well, no matter what the storm does, this thread will be one to go back and read.
  4. @40/70 Benchmark If RT 2 N doesn’t get a good break in the next week or so I might go full meltdown.
  5. I understand that I would like some big snow storms at a ski area within 70 miles of my house. Shouldn't be too much to ask for in CNE in early February, right? Berkshires up through Stratton, Mt Snow and Magic has not had the greatest stretch the past 5 years. I mean it's been ok but SNE has had a lot of good storms relative to Berks/SW VT
  6. As we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns—the ones we don’t know we don’t know.
  7. I think this ends up a lot of sleet and some freezing rain S of Pike.
  8. NAM does pretty well with mid-level warmth but 2m is a little more suspect. That NAM scenario is not good for Greenfield. Lots of cold locked in at the surface with FZRA for NW MA.
  9. A lot of ice choking the small streams and rivers. 2 inches of rain would be a disaster.
  10. What you really want is a good rain with DP’ in the 30s and then a freeze to really lock qpf in the pack. Then follow that with a high QPF, warm rainer in a few weeks to get all of that ice piling up against the bridge abutments.
  11. I can’t remember what year it was, maybe 2011 or 12, in late March or early April Greenfield got 3-4” of sleet and it was paralyzing on the roads. Accidents everywhere and impossible to clear. Luckily next day was mid 40’s.
  12. This might be the storm the RT 2 corridor has been waiting for. That would be over a foot from Snowgeek to Me to Ray.
  13. Not getting the trends we want to see. SNE looks cooked, not sure how amped up this can actually get with this set up but NNE looks safe. Ski areas in the Berkshires and S VT can't afford to be losing base though.
  14. Pray for snow, you would need so many things to go right to get an ice storm.
  15. Greenfield’s 100th Annual Winter Carnival is this weekend, let’s do this!
  16. I could use some cheering up. Loli
  17. Sweet, Bob will have that glacier in his yard he’s been craving.
  18. -4F. Sixth morning this month below zero.
  19. Well, something to track. Much different beast than this last one. Whatever, fun to have a snowy week.
