  1. I think tonight and tomorrow night.
  2. Basically a couple of 10 minute showers here. Even the dust in the driveway is already dry. We have had less than .30 this month. Brutal. I guess I should’ve been careful what I wished for back in May…
  3. I’m not even crossing my fingers for clear sky. New England is where celestial viewing events go to die.
  4. Well at least we got 10 minutes of rain, hopefully the next batch makes it in here too. Won’t do much for the vegetation but at least it will knock the dust and pollen down a little bit.
  5. They will be throwing the terpene odors for weeks to come and it will generally be strongest in the evenings. Our neighbors across the street have a dozen big girls and the odor on the evening dog walk is pronounced. Of course all of the neighbors probably think it’s the long hair guy growing, not the town counselor.
  6. Two of the farms near me said that this week was pretty much do or die for the fall crops if they did not get rain.
  7. You knew, we tried to tell em' dry beget dry. D Ditty Damage nailed this one, Messenger Shuffle in the duffel and rollin' with the Stein dog.
  8. I've been pessimistic about this one since last week, hopefully at least get a shower to wet the ground, anything helps. Next chance at any meaningful precipitation, probably doesn't come for 6 or 7 days.
  9. We get that all the time around here. They come up from Westover AFB and run maneuvers over the Hilltowns. Loud.
  10. The farms around here would kill for .20” over 30 hours.
  11. January 2005 was the Boston metro special. I was in Cambridge and it’s the only time I’ve experienced 30”+
  12. I think 78 is the only storm you and I have in common as an all timer. For me it’s Feb 78, April Fools 97, Boston Blizzard 2005, W MA 2013, W MA 2011
  13. No thanks, a lot of strange goings on in his area... https://northernstar-online.com/curse-of-glastenbury-mountain/
  14. This is awesome, the rivers are too low to find any good swimming spots and a lot of the lakes around here now have bacteria warnings.
  15. Well, if it’s summer track record is anything like it’s winter track record, enjoy the .01” of sprinkles you get.
  16. We tried and tried, dry beget dry.
  17. Oh good, just like winter, west of the river screw job.
  18. The afternoon turned into perfect beach weather. North wind keeps the Falmouth side of Buzzards Bay calm and inviting.
  19. Go check out the Franklin county fair in Greenfield second weekend of September. classic county fair with lots of agricultural stuff and a demolition derby!
  20. Nothing to do now but sit back and wait for the shunt East.
  21. Yes, Santa is sure to bring them for all of SNE to enjoy!
  22. I know a lot of professional farmers in western mass and they are not in great shape. Worst dry spell most of them have ever seen.
  23. Great day, got in some bay time and some beach time. What a comfort difference from the past two weeks.
