  1. I don’t have to go out I have a MILF at home! I’m over 50 so everybody’s expectations are in check.
  2. Wasn't Harvey pretty devastating in the Houston area? At least in terms of rainfall?
  3. I went down to our family’s place in North Falmouth the next day. Our house was OK but what a disaster area the town was.
  4. If we could get a windy day the red flag warnings will be going up.
  5. Sorry to hear. It’s brutal yet we keep getting dogs because their unconditional love far outweighs the eventual sorrow of losing them.
  6. I’ve heard stuff like that in greenfield in the past. I attribute it to the railroad yard down in Deerfield rearranging out of commission cars or whatever.
  7. My gut feeling is that outside of an October nor’easter of note, it is going to be boring until winter weather season arrives. I am skeptical of the tropics producing anything for New England this year. I think any teasers are going to fall victim to lows swinging down an kicking them out. What do I know? Just my feeling.
  8. I would say last summer’s rainfall was more extreme than this summer’s drought from a sensible weather perspective.
  9. It’s amazing how just that little bit of rain last night really perked up the flora. I mean, everything is still pretty toasted it just gave a little boost.
  10. Picked up a much needed .15” last night. We had about 2 hours of light rain.
  11. Steady light rain over Greenfield the past hour. Won't bust the drought but much appreciated.
  12. Greenfield is only .20” ahead of you for that same time period. We desicate.
  13. I think tonight and tomorrow night.
  14. Basically a couple of 10 minute showers here. Even the dust in the driveway is already dry. We have had less than .30 this month. Brutal. I guess I should’ve been careful what I wished for back in May…
  15. I’m not even crossing my fingers for clear sky. New England is where celestial viewing events go to die.
  16. Well at least we got 10 minutes of rain, hopefully the next batch makes it in here too. Won’t do much for the vegetation but at least it will knock the dust and pollen down a little bit.
  17. They will be throwing the terpene odors for weeks to come and it will generally be strongest in the evenings. Our neighbors across the street have a dozen big girls and the odor on the evening dog walk is pronounced. Of course all of the neighbors probably think it’s the long hair guy growing, not the town counselor.
  18. Two of the farms near me said that this week was pretty much do or die for the fall crops if they did not get rain.
  19. You knew, we tried to tell em' dry beget dry. D Ditty Damage nailed this one, Messenger Shuffle in the duffel and rollin' with the Stein dog.
  20. I've been pessimistic about this one since last week, hopefully at least get a shower to wet the ground, anything helps. Next chance at any meaningful precipitation, probably doesn't come for 6 or 7 days.
