  1. I'll drive up there saturday I think. Only 30 minuted from Greenfield.
  2. I am in Northampton and it is 42° with dim sun. Garbage air mass.
  3. Like I said last night, when don’t they? It’s the snowiest place in CNE.
  4. Their base elevation is pretty low tho’… too bad there’s not a ski area on Savoy Mt.
  5. Yeah, when I went out this morning the air did not have a snow vibe to it.
  6. Pretty much a lock for that area since last Friday. Anywhere from Mitch up through Ascutney should get pounded,
  7. Ticks NW obviously not good but I'm more curious what it does with ML warming and how fast we torch 950.
  8. Non-professional opinion, you and Dave get a 6”+ paster and then some drizzle.
  9. I should get somewhere between 2”-8” of snow. That won’t make a meaningful difference…
  10. About 5 years ago I had friends, who are snow lovers, that had affordable options on two different houses. One up in Heath at 1200’ and one in Shelburne at 800’. They were into Winter sports and they knew that I was really into weather so we talked a bit about ideal locations. They ended up buying the house in Shelburne figuring a few hundred feet could not make that big of a difference. Probably a poor decision.
  11. That’s the same where I am. I can literally drive five minutes and be at 1000’ in Colrain. It’s maddening sometimes but I like my house and its proximity to downtown Greenfield so we happy.
  12. That’s the spirit! If you get confused listen to the music play.
  13. Yeah, that’s wild. You not only need elevation but plenty of W longitude to get anything significant. Mitch ftw, absolute porkage in Albany. I’m surprised there’s not a little gray dot of screwage over Bennington.
  14. Yeah, downtown Gardener is close to 1000’ I think. Fitchburg and Leominster only around 500’? I guess we could see some huge gradients with this depending on how it plays out.
  15. That’s in line with BOX. Who knows, maybe there’s a full mid-level torch coming and this disappoints most outside of NNE. Winter rain is a dish best served cold.
  16. I know my elevation isn’t great but I am 12 miles from the Vermont border and this is my forecast from BOX.
  17. We joke but sometimes weather does seem to follow dividing lines. The N of Pike and S of Pike dividing line is often real.
