Top 10 summer night. Swam at the river from 5 to 7 PM, then grilled and ate dinner outside with literally no flying insects around. The Sahara conditions are pretty damn enjoyable, at least for the short term…

92° in downtown Greenfield, but definitely less oppressive than some of the other days we’ve had this summer. I’m not pouring sweat like I was two weeks ago. Going to feel nice hitting the river later!

I'm not a big tropical tracker but this set-up is a like a day 10 blizzard. Certainly not a hallucination but currently modeled upper air patterns are tenuous.

This is a Hatteras head fake and then 300 miles East of Chatham. Ridge placement will lock in this week and then weenie dreams will fade.

This week is gonna' be hot. Dew points look tolerable for most of the week so we AC by day and window fans by night. We'll see how September goes but get out and enjoy the heat while it's here. Go Swim!

I’ve been up in the Hill towns every day, bringing my kid to theater camp and the trees are stressed. Droopy, leather leaves, and already getting color fade.

The official AQI numbers seem too low. Very heavy smoke down in Northampton and the network of home monitors is in the red.

Definitely going to take a hit in Western Mass. The smoke is getting heavier as the day goes on.
