This was how I expected it to eventually go down. The 40" over SNJ seemed too implausible. LI, NYC, CT, up through Mass seemed more doable. I'm jacked! I'm jacked to the tits!

This is going to usher in a traffic apocalypse in New Haven. They did such a shit job with the January storm that there are still plenty of streets partially blocked and down to basically one lane of traffic for both directions. Also, it looks like they've depleted their mountain of salt by I-91. Going to be a fun commute to the office Monday.

Folks seeking shelter inside dead Tauntauns out that way. Buckle up! As for me, I'm just gonna take whatever this thing gives me. I've had cover pretty much since Boxing Day, ample cold, and climo snow. Everything at this point is gravy. 15-30" of wind-driven snow would be spectacular.

I’m kinda feeling a Long Island jack on this. Keep moving that LB northeast. Phenomenal trend in the last several cycles. I will delighted to even sniff warning snow after the last several weeks. What cover I have left is brown and crusty and in desperate need of a refresh.

This is my fault guys. I finally caved and bought a blower a few weeks back, thereby ending winter in southern New England. The only dark and stormy in our future involves ginger beer and dark rum.
