    This band is awesome. Gotta be 2-3"/hr. Also, trees are completely caked, even with the wind picking up a bit. It's beautiful out there.

    Convective stuff south of OKX. Have to say I'm pretty happy with the way this looks down here.

    I mean, just looking at the water vapor loop/radar, seems like cloud tops are popping and cooling east of NJ. Doesn't strike me as worrisome.

    Wind making its first appearance. Definitely starting to get a blizzardy vibe.

    Having a hard time believing it given the pileup of echoes going up south of Long Island, but who knows?

    White fog is an excellent descriptor. Surprisingly low visibility for 30 dbz snow.

    This snow is just plastering the trees. Definitely has a springish vibe. A little concerning once the wind kicks in.

    Am I really going to shadow off Mt Tolland down here? You'd think we had Alps in eastern CT blocking the flow with that depiction.

    Is there any reasonable mechanism that would support that?

    Nemo started like this as well. Basically twelve hours of wet, largely non-accumulating snow, then BOOM!
