  2. Where does that low goes from there? That's the question. Anyone with a professional guess based on the upper levels, etc.?

  5. That's a big part of the city if you're not mentioning Manhattan only. Also Long Island would be in trouble with that forecast.
  6. If the city gets an inch of ice everyone will lose power. Half an inch is already enough to bring down trees and power lines, I can't imagine what 1.5" does.

  8. Was really hoping to see the NAM bring us the goods at 12z, but from the looks of it, not happening.
  9. Oh I've seen them mess up before in either direction. Not saying they're wrong, but wouldn't be first time if they are.

  11. 18z GFS had the city surface temp at mid 50's, this run doesn't go above 36-38.
  12. Significant improvements at upper levels compared to 18z run.
  13. at hr 84 GFS has the low over Arkansas. NAM has it over Mexico lol. Meh...boring Oh hi there...you look very sexy

  15. I’ve been in this forum for at least 5 winters and never heard of an 18z euro. Is there a 06z as well and is this a new feature?
  16. Yo have the best models being consistent each run combined with no blocking. Just not the right setup and climo for a coastal snowstorms. I'm not throwing the towel until I see the NAM though. It has surprised us a few times in the past.
  17. Such a long way to go with this threat. The low is still about two days away from coming onshore.
