That (100% wrong..) cliché is not only corny but it's totally untrue. Any meteorologist on their worst day is better than you at forecasting on your best day. I'm not sure, but you sound like you could be a teenager so my encouragement to you would be to post less and read more. A lot more. I've learned so much the past 14 years on here by just reading and realizing there is so much to the science of meteorology. And I probably understand about 2-5% of it still.

@psuhoffman made so much sense when he posted last night I believe. Predicting rain/ or "no snow" isn't rocket science. There are multiple different ways that can happen, so just because it doesn't snow doesn't make a person's call right. Especially in this environment good snow is hard to come by anyway. I don't think it's a stretch at this point to say more than half the people on this thread (ant least) are going to see snow Sunday/Monday. How much, and how quickly it changes to snow or mixes etc., we won't really know until Friday at the earliest.

To a point now just want plowable snow just bc of the trolling. Tiresome

Very true! It was encouraging also here in Central, Va on Friday, we actually scored with a clipper. Had 3.5" in SW Chesterfield County in less than 4 hours! Can't remember last time a clipper did some damage.

Im not denying it's different. It is-but this winter and really last winter, has actually been...well... winter. And we had gone several years with basically no winter. I agree with what PSU has been saying. This will be a good test to see how it works out... Pacific is crap, but other parts are decent. Also, SEEMS like models are over the place more now than 5 years ago. But I've done no official evaluation. I'd have to quit my day job for that haha.
