We desperately need something to work out up here, snowmobile trails are getting down to dirt cause of all the traffic and school vacation week, besides that 12 inches we got haven't even sniffed 3 inches for a month up here. I'm hoping 8-10 inches total for all of next week and by next Saturday we can get things back into shape

I know this is a miss or 1-3 inch max for up here, but just hoping the GFS is more right about later next week and not that ugly Euro I saw. School vacation week has literally wore the snow off the trails, we need 6 inches bad, but probably realistically a foot to start battling the March sun

Looks like we spike to 40 here Tuesday, but other than that only slightly above freezing. We'll take that.

2.9 inches here after a 2 week snow drought, might as well always take the least snowy model and it'll be right 90% of the time! At least leaving for Cancun on Saturday morning out of Quebec City so maybe we'll get lucky and it'll snow while we're away...

Considering we didn't even get a dusting on Saturday I don't feel bad if we can cash in a bit up here while other areas get less, but I don't expect more than 4 inches, been hurt too many times before!

Bombardier BR 160 from 1996, which Prinoth bought out in 2006 I think. Nice machine, but going to upgrade to something newer this summer

Ended up with around 9 inches at the groomer barn and 10 inches at the house, picked up around 4.5 inches throughout the day yesterday. Ran the groomer over it last night, definitely needs another pass and some sled traffic but should set up by the weekend

I think it will take a pass, sleds, and another pass but by the weekend with the cold temps I think this should pack in alright. Smaller drags behind snowmobiles will struggle but with our 8x16 it will process and heat up some hopefully. Real thin spots before the snow aren't going to be stellar that's for sure.

Despite being on the edge of the good stuff, still have picked up 1.5 more and steady -Sn still. Planning to take the groomer out tonight at 430, our club president plugged in the block heater cause those old Perkins Diesels are numb in the cold.

5.5 inches in southern Piscataquis county, lower ratio stuff then forecasted so I think will pack fairly well. Still -Sn currently, maybe pick up another inch or two today, but missing the nice Lewiston to Skowhegan band to our South and just getting the fringe.

I'm not seeing 20:1 ratios here I don't believe, just give me my 6-8 inches and stop giving me hope!

Euro got better up here, CMC is fairly steady, but icon took a big step towards the GFS which makes me nervous. I'm fine with 6-8 inches and would be thrilled, less than that and it'll be pretty depressing, haha.

I've been happy with seeing greater than 0.5 of QPF on every model except the GFS up here, give me 6 inches of snow and I'll groom every trail out nice. This wasn't even supposed to be a Maine storm until a few days ago so this is all bonus!

I'm hoping for a few more ticks here to get us in on the goods, but I'd be doing backflips for 6 inches. Currently all guidance has the 45th parallel QPF hole right over my head but much more solid 50 miles each side of us.

Finally took the BR 160 on its maiden voyage for the season, overall trail came out mostly decent, but it's pretty depressing considering if we didn't get 4 separate rain events we'd have well over a 2 foot pack. Oh well, another shitty winter, 6 seasons in a row since the last great season of 2018-19. Have close to 1,000 miles on the sled at least with two Quebec trips the past two weekends.

One of my rox mounts actually did break and I had to zip tie to get home with it, had almost 6,000 miles of abuse and then a smooth ride with the wife at 50-60 mph with no bumps and it breaks I do appreciate the Maine insight you have, definitely a different world up here than other areas. Hope you guys do alright down there too, trends look promising. You should have good riding I imagine with the snow the past few days and what's coming this weekend. We need a good season after these past 5 disappointments.

Heading to Quebec for 3 days this weekend which usually guarantees snow at the house, got probably 200 miles on, but 140 being trail maintenance either on a skandic or my tundra, but did have a nice 60 mile ride with the wife Sunday from the house. If we pick up 4-5 inches through Sunday we'll be starting to roll here, looks like minor QPF Friday into Saturday with the warmup.

An inch here so far and -sn, this weekend keeps looking like less of a disaster, hope the trend holds

Looks like Hi-res stuff might have taken a step back from 0z, but we'll see. Feel good for about an inch here, but hopefully it gets going a bit earlier to get more of the board in on it and closer to 2-3 here, taking the groomer out Friday if my part comes in hopefully

Everything keeps ticking slowly north and west, hopefully it keeps coming this way like the last storm kept creeping north on us 24 hours out and we ended up getting 0.9" of rain instead of mostly snow and frozen precip.

Looks like we haven't lost much pack here at all, but currently sitting stopped 10 mins from the house for a log truck rollover cleanup, hoping things will clear shortly since it's 30 mins around...33 and rain still, hoping we Dryslot or flip here soon
