  1. 168 looks really nice. Great trends today!
  2. Western ridge really helping to pump things up at 162..
  3. GEFS looking sexy as well. VERY well respected met in the New England forums also saying the NAM (yes I know it's the NAM) looks a lot more like the GFS than the GGEM.
  4. Big ole custom made bowling ball.. specially delivered for the Mid Atlantic crew
  5. Just a MINOR difference lolllll. What a freaking look at 500 my dear God!
  6. Ready for my 12Z fine wine and dine experience, with the GFS as the main entree. Serve the dig!
  7. This makes me audibly laugh out loud. What a joke they’ve become. It’s too bad too because back in the 90’s they were freakin on it.
  8. I stand by my amped solution. Would much rather take the risk although I’m closer to the apps than some here toward the coast, however I agree with you where right now beggars can’t be choosers in our setups last couple years, so if it’s 2” then it’s better than partly sunny and bitterly cold. I also was spoiled as sh*t growing up in Northwest Connecticut, about an hour from the Mass border, so there’s that too lol.
  9. I like this times 10,000.. I’d rather roll the dice here and be looking down the barrel of an amped system than have some weak pos sheared out mess because the phase was never even close. Beggers can’t be choosers BUT it’s early and I’m willing to push the chips all in.
  10. Looking at 6z Euro out to 144 on mid Atlantic forum, the s/w diving down looks more GFS like back at 0z, whereas it’s not ejecting it as far eastward as what 6z gfs did. Also appears to be a little more neutral of a tilt, thus the hope is IF the euro continued out past 144, we would be getting “diggy”. Still a ton of time and a ton of things to change, but I will take small battlefield wins.
  11. 0Z GEFS really liking the central VA to eastern PA/ NW NJ. Still shows a general theme region wide tho of a solid precip producer. Edit: It did cut back decent bit Western NC/SC but at this point I’m pulling hairs with the GFS suite.. signal and 500 setup are there.
  12. Jan 21-23 1987 https://www.newyorkupstate.com/weather/2017/01/what_were_the_worst_25_storms_in_the_northeast_in_the_past_60_years.html Bring this on!
  13. If we got 2 storms in a couple days I’d seriously contemplate signing on the dotted line to call winter a wrap after that, even with my latitude comparatively to some in here. Would be absolutely incredible.
  14. Late next week storm is too progressive on the 0z Canadian. Doesn’t dig as much as GFS did. I will say however the ensembles have looked better than the op. Will have to see what 0Z ensembles say in a little.
  15. HR 246 the entire forum would literally be happy. Low pressure southeast of Savannah.
  16. Regardless of surface at 0z, that upper air pattern is starting to look like a classic, textbook, major eastern seaboard snowstorm.
  17. I’m way ahead of myself here in time but as we get closer and if it hangs on to the evolution, I wonder how much the gulf channel will play a role in bombing this storm out and really cranking the moisture. At minimum with that storm starting to crank in central GA, southeast flow would start to pump up the advection.
  18. 7mb drop from 177-180. This board will be rocking by about Saturday night if this continues. 180 992mb off of Wilmington.
