    GEFS 24hr precip panels look like a pretty nice improvement on the latest run. Am I missing something?

    DT is god awful....the early Jan storm he said the GFS was full of Sh*t It ended up being nearly spot on......this past weekend he barked non stop about the big winter storm that didn't happen for much of Virginia, now barking on this one only to watch it slowly slip away.

    The times have really changed when the Euro shows a big storm less than 5 days out and nobody is excited until the GFS shows it.

    Something Im sure we have all noticed on the Major models is the Low in a pretty good place in North Carolina.....then as the storm pushes north it actually pulls almost due northwest for a period of 6-12 hours.....Cant say I remember that happening ever in the past winter storms over the years. What is causing this to happen and is that a viable solution?
