  1. https://www.weather.gov/media/pbz/records/hissnow.pdf Home prices are cheap compared to NE but not a great area for snowfall.
  2. At least there is something to pay attention to during the dullest weather time of the year.
  3. I'm taking Pitt 2 + 8 for next sunday!!
  4. That is because the model runs brought clarity and reality to the storm threat(s) ....and then it was time to move on to the next potential threat. The issue became that some people could not pull themselves away from the virus thread. It's sort of like JB, he feels compelled to respond to every bit of news that mentions global warming. It's sort of like when a needle gets stuck in a groove on a record. Some people just got stuck. Hopefully you have better luck this winter when starting winter storm threads!!
  5. Phin is 2 for 2. Some people had become obsessed with the topic.
  6. Agree. Better to be safe than sorry even in a very low risk area.
  7. It's sort of like when JBJ goes into a slump..the type of slump where a girl from concession is able to strike him out on 3 pitches
  8. Just schedule a baseball game that I have to attend and/or watch on TV...guarantee it will rain.
  9. That is a possibility. And it is why it's best to consult with a doctor before beginning a self medicating plan. There are sleep clinics in CT. Let the specialist figure out what is going on and let them come up with a treatment plan.
  10. Would he not be better served consulting with a doctor to get at the root of the problem????????
  11. Dr Ginx with all the Covid -19 answers unreal
  12. Motrim PM is for occasional use it is not suppose to be used as a regular sleep aid. From Drugs.com Motrin PM is not for use in treating sleeplessness without pain, or sleep problems that occur often.
  13. Jesus , no one makes up more BS than you do.
  14. Most doctors would not recommend using Motrim PM as a sleep aid if you are not experiencing pain. As with many drugs a "addiction" can develop. Someone can develop a "need" for it....in other words feeling a need for it in order to sleep. And a tolerance to the drug can build over time. Speak to your primary care doctor. Another thing for you to consider is consulting with a sleep specialist . Do you drink caffeinated beverages?
  15. I agree that it is very concerning. The warmth is Siberia has been very persistent this year.
  16. Looks like another scorching hot summer across the NH. https://www.washingtonpost.com/weather/2020/06/21/arctic-temperature-record-siberia/
  17. The Flint tornado along with other tornadoes led to a debate in Congress regarding the possible link between the atomic bomb testing and tornadoes. The theory was quickly dismissed. I wonder if the present day warning system had been in place if it would have led to people going to fallout shelters back in 1953. Growing up in the 60's and 70's I was well aware of where the fallout shelters were located.
  18. I think the death total would be higher because of the increase in population. Where would people go if warned?
  19. Stalls in the gulf until September, then makes a beeline for the coast, then a Cat 6 redux of 38.......
  20. Depends on how much money you want to spend for a nice looking lawn. Personally I'd rather invest the money in something that I need or want to do. My lawn is decent. A neighbor down the street has a great looking lawn but his water bill is huge. Plus he uses a lot of different chemicals on his lawn which is another major expense. The fascination with lawns is an obsession with some people. A former neighbor would spend hours working on his lawn. His lawn looked better than augusta! He moved out about 15 years ago. A couple of years later he came back to visit. He was appalled at the condition of the lawn at his former home.
  21. Depending on if he heats his home with natural gas he may be eligible for the mass save program. https://www.reviseenergy.com/towns-we-serve
