  1. I guess this answers my question about where the interior/ coastal plain division lies.
  2. The recent 2+ weeks of winter have been nice, plus a good week in mid December, and the bonus Halloween snows, but our 4 weeks max allowable of winter weather is coming to an end. Thoughts of spring and a non eventful severe season are in the air. Until next year, thanks to all of those who helped make it possible.
  3. The 2 or so weeks of winter that we had down here in the south was nice...plus the bonus week in mid-December, and the extra credit Halloween storm in October. Experiencing the feel of winter's of yore was nice...winter activities and all. Now we can get back to our regularly scheduled, Spring prep. Thanks to all who madd it possible.
  4. When we talk "interior" here, what delineates interior from coastal plain? I think I have seen my area noted as coastal in this forum in the past.
  5. If round 2 is the 16th, that is not looking too good for our area either.
  6. Was a good few weeks. Time to bring everyone back down to earth.
  7. Scott called this thing failing a few days ago.
  8. Would like the ice, but most of the outlets here are talking sleet. Meh with sleet.
  9. Now that it was advertised like this my guess is that the people (bookies) who took the bet will not be thrilled...as in arms and legs may be broken.
  10. With about 8" yesterday, and over 20" within a 2 week span it's been a pretty good re-boot to the winter so far.
  11. What is the timing for Sunday's system at this point...Approximate Start...End?
  12. Safety is key. Be one with the safety.
  13. I melt internally now. Requires much less energy and I look like less of a fool...Not much less, but still less than if I spouted melt-post after steaming-melt-post.
  14. Overall, this storm played out as most forecasted for my area. This 2 weeks in a row of good snowstorm forecasting.
  15. Yes it was either rain or some other wet phenomenon...All of the railings and deck were snow covered last night, when I woke up they were slush, and it was misting out. Edit: It's hard to see from this pic, but that railing had snow on it last night, now it is just an inch of slush. Slush on the deck as well, and the table was all snow, and now slush. I don't know if being on the lake has anything to do with it, but I will drive away about a mile from the lake and there will be a clear difference in temperature and increased snow amounts after some storms.
  16. Looks like there was a rain change over at sometime overnight.
  17. lol. She won't go near the snow unless it is life or death.
  18. have no idea how much snow is OTG with all of the wind coming off the lake. Shit is blowing around though on the road. ....Save the trash cans.
