  1. *takes a hit of the 6z gfs at 312 hrs* yeah... that’s the good stuff.
  2. I’m hearing that this new hyper-advanced model, the CMC I think they’re calling it, looks interesting for us
  3. I remember hearing the police doing water rescues at around 6am on the scanners. From the moment I woke up I was thinking “what the hell is that noise” the downpour was so loud.
  4. The fun thing is I recall an almost identical storm cell just sitting over the north shore and flooding Lynn and Peabody over a few hours back in like October 2010 or 2011.
  5. pretty good crack of thunder just now, lights flickering.
  6. 31, wet snow starting to stick to grass and cars, melting on road. Oh, and my power went out about 30 mins ago
  7. There has been an awakening. Can you feel it? It comes with the dawn, the inexorable forward march of the new southeast MA climo. Blizzards upon blizzards, the Gulf Stream charged with the latent heat of a thousand supernovae. All while GC languishes, scraping by on the leftover flurries.
  8. Nice continuity for many, thank you. Based on that map bboughton just posted it still looks like~2' for pretty much all of Middlesex and Essex counties, with the weenie south shore jack.In fact, as you said, looks like pretty much all of sne is getting nailed.
  9. So outside of NYC/SWCT, it seems things have mostly remained the same for much of the region?
  10. I think there may have been two, the one at the end of the broadcast had a 24+ from the north shore down through Boston and the south shore.
  11. Hearing Harv talk about top 10 as a lock and record breaking potential in Boston just made it real for me lol.
  12. Harvey's map is amazing. The legend has spoken, "I think it's a lock that this is a top 10 storm for Boston... If it even broke the all time record of 27.6" I wouldn't be shocked. North shore, Boston, south shore, it's possible."
  13. Any thoughts on how much damage this storm may actually do (if much at all)?
