Raining all morning, but really pouring now. Finally some good accumulations.

Surprise rain shower gave us another tenth. .71" mtd.

At least the drought talk is slightly more exciting than the normal dews talk we have every summer. At the very least it's different.

With yesterdays rains I'm at 0.61" mtd. Hopefully we get some more on Monday. Have no desire to be the "jackpot" for STEIN. May 2.25" June 0.22" July 1.03" August 0.61"

Still an occasional rain drop coming down, but I'd say we're done for accumulations for today. A whopping .21" of rain over 4 hours. Stein still laughing at us.

Light to occasionally moderate rain for 2.5+ hours now. Just what the doctor ordered. Now let's see if we can get more rain in the next week or if it's going to be 15 days before the next drops fall here.

Got some video of that same storm looking up from the south in Waterford.

A grand total of .12" today. .10" in 5 minutes during the first shower. Only a trace the other 2 times it rained today.

Not many times in the year that you can say tracking dews and rain showers is special.

And it's pouring rain now. Was 92/76 will be interesting to see how much the temp comes down....won't last long as I can already see blue sky behind this heavy shower.

Tropical steam bath outside. 77/76 imby. Still 81/73 at HFD and BDL, gonna be a scorcher for sure. Looks like I added to my totals overnight with another .01"

Incredibly dry around here. Some days we missed rain by only a mile or two.... May 2.25" June 0.22" July 1.03" August 0.20" June 1st trace June 2nd trace June 17th .10" June 22nd .10" July 14th trace July 16th trace July 19th .70" July 25th trace July 30th .30" August 1st .15" August 8th .05"

As expected...rain showers drying up right as they hit the New London county border. Steined again.

88/72 at IJD, SNC and GON. Nice trio. 90/73 at HFD and 90/72 at BDL. Toasty. Love it.

The CT and RI rain shield holding strong today.

That must be the one headed into Waterford right now... pulsed just south of my house. 0.0" so far. Small line behind it looks like it's dying. Awesome photo.

I can hear the cell going through northern New London county. Alas the other little cells that popped up south of it have dried up...
