  1. A wind driven, cold, catpaw rain. Great.
  2. Regardless of snow, the winds should howl for a while heading into Friday morning.
  3. Ahhhh, the models come out an hour later!
  4. I like seeing the northern stream outrunning the southern stream on euro.
  5. Won't the extra hour of daylight next week reduce the accumulation potential?
  6. I would love to see a day 11 operational euro just for schitts & gigles....
  7. In George's defense, the NAVGEM looks menacing.
  8. Wasn't he from NJ? I can still hear the very good song by Dylan titled "Hurricane". Fun fact, radio stations quit playing that song for fear of slander suits...I love Dylan, but he took a bit too much license in this case.
  9. Better example here. If we can get the trough axis over ETX to ELA.....
  10. Let's kick that NM energy eastward by half-a-day, then we're in business.
  11. The GW rule. When George and Will agree, so shall the waether be.
  12. I don't know George. I would proceed with caution until we see the NOGAPS come aboard.
  13. Hey pros, is that a massive windex signal for NNE early next week?
  14. On a more serious note, that's a radical change over the Rockies in a 24 hour period. I wonder if it argues for a surface developement in the Tennessee Valley region:
  15. I think you just said spring is coming....in 1,020 words.
  16. I sent my employees home as the changeover was occurring. It took one of them 7 hours to drive 25 miles. One of my favorite all-time events. A real Great Plains-style blizzard....4" of snow, plummeting temps, 50+ winds.
  17. The fat lady may have choked on her ham sandwich last night.
  18. That dive bomber from Ontario look has been depicted on a couple of euro runs lately. Somtheing to watch, as this has been a region closed-to-business this season.
  19. Here is an excerpt from my 2009-2010 log describing this to some extent: 12/31 to 1/3 8" Huge trof, at one point a week before looked like BECS, but southrn stream swung way east then retro to ME, Boston. 2.5 on day one with zipper, then 3 with Norlun, then 2.5 wrap around. Very spotty accums. We did well in Trumbull. Very warm air backed into ME and QE, we stayed bitter cold Sunday with near blizzard conditions at times.
