  1. Yes, maybe just enough weakness between the ridges? 10 days away, but I am like the desert traveler hallucinating with distant visions of liquid.
  2. Our storm gave us 10 mins of moderate to heavy rain, then redeveloped eastward...as if leapfrogging us. I feel like Joey Gallo, I see the big fat hanger, take a mighty cut....and the ball is in the catcher's mitt.
  3. The cell approaching me looks a little bit spinny
  4. A complete two day shut out here. Unfriggin real.
  5. Here is the view looking to my northeast:
  6. We got enough to barely cover the street with moisture. It's over now. Good luck to you, Hoth.
  7. This morning Bob Maxon, a good local TV met here, mentioned something about Saharan dust abating...and lookout for lots of tropical activity soon. Can anyone add or subtract anything to that?
  8. Get a ladder and a long stick, and give it a whack. If they sting the crap out of you, it will be a great winter. If you escape unscathed...dead ratter.
  9. For the love of God, someone in CT please tell me you have had FROPA, please!
  10. Upon what are you basing this, weeklies? Not a hint of bake-age in the 10 day euro.
  11. Distant thunder and few drops of rain, but otherwise shut out....like facing Verlander on his best day.
  12. The next 10 days look great. No AC at night, long sleeve Ts in the morning...I wouldn't mind the depicted pattern this winter.
  13. the Jackie Bradley, Jr. era is over?
  14. Yup. It is already getting late much earlier now.
  15. And speaking of baseball, what the hell are the Yankees doing trading a solid middle-of-the-rotation starter for an injured outfielder with lowzy metrics? Maybe Montgomery was a clubhouse problem, or maybe he likes to whack in public....oops, wrong team.
  16. Completely random, but a cool pic.
  17. In Acton, ME, tonight. Just saw a nice Noctilucent in the western sky.
  18. Some sleet down here too. Interesting DP profile.
  19. 61 with a DP of 4! I don't recall a spread that large in CT, ever.
  20. I dunno. Nestor Cortes for the Yankees has been lights out throwing dead fish at batters. I think there is still a place for someone who can pitch.
