    it was a bust yesterday for precip in central park and a bust earlier in the week where was the 2-4 inches promised for central park if the forecast lived up nyc would have set a all time record for rain in the month of july in central park

    i cannot remember the last time we had a summer stretch for this long that has been so humid..

    it was the odd the quickness the sun came back out when heavy showers and tstorms on the radar were right in or near the city the storms just went poof..i did not expect that.. that has not been the case for the city recently

    last night i did not think that storm would bring 1.42 inches in central park.. it did not last long...

    it looks like the park has a excellent chance of breaking a 132 year old rainfall record...
