  1. Judging by that my 10 inch guess is pretty close. I don't know how you can get a real accurate measurement with all this wind and drifting.
  2. I just had a wind gust that stayed above 35 mph for about 10 seconds. That may not sound like much but that doesn't happen much on my home anemometer. The anemometer is 33 ft in the air but like most neighborhoods their are trees off in the distance to keep wind speeds down some.
  3. Light snow here but the wind has really picked up, gusting to 40mph at my house. I would estimate some 10 inches of snow
  4. Right now this seems to be a central N.J. to mid Hudson Valley storm, including eastern Pa.
  5. Just came in from using snowblower. Hard to say how much is out there but I would say 6-9 inches somewhere and snowing very hard. Wind gusting to about 35mph and temp. is 29.5
  6. http://www.kevinspage.com/kevinsweather.html Maybe this is a little better, could be better ones however
  7. Radar shows rain coming into beaches of Long Island from about Fire Island east. Also on central Jersey shore. 30.1 degrees here with light snow. Wind picking up with gusts to 27mph
  8. If my temperature doesn't slow down this rise, I will be above freezing by daybreak. Still very light snow here
  9. Temperature up to 28 degrees here, it was about 23 at 9pm. A few inches on the ground and snowing lightly.
  10. That quickly developed. Yes it will fill in but right now it almost looks the storm is taking shape off the Carolinas and the northern precip is falling apart.
  11. Radar shows heavy precip over eastern North and South Carolina, very little in Virginia and a dry slot going from D.C. to Philly.
  12. I suppose you play it safe until crunch time. You can't say 18 inches then 7 inches with every model run. It looks like a general 6-12 from Virginia to New England with some area getting the jackpot of some 18-24 or so.
