Its simple. If the storm doesnt affect your area, dont post in a thread involving that threat. Not sure why it matters that it only affects part of the metro area.

Its usually whenever siriusxm pulls the plug, 26th or 27th. But that kinda is played by ear. If we had a wintry week of weather between christmas and new years, the music probably stays on. But i dont mind moving on quickly from it since i start it so early lol

I dunno man, calling for a historic torch for the time period that we had a pretty significant travel disruption due to icing, a small storm, and potential for real cold temps early next week might be enough to surpass him.

Sweet spot in rockland/westchester/most of the bronx for precip and cold enough temps. Overpasses and elevated roads went to shit really quick. Shouldnt last long but that was no bueno.

We will never in this area have a sustained perfect or near perfect pattern for snow and cold. Never have, never will. Arguing that any good patterns may be transitory is literally arguing against nothing, that no one has claimed. Discuss the pattern, sure. Discussing that it wont last? Ok, say it once. There, convo over. Doesnt need to be repeated (or tweet pasted). now back to discussing the weather.

Whats that saying about glass houses and stones? if you have gotten every forecast correct, by all means. Criticize. But we all know how the forecasts around here have gone. Discuss the weather, not the person. Not dealing with hostility and *ssholeness on xmas eve.
