  1. So is everyone ready for a possible heat wave next week?
  2. US National Weather Service Philadelphia/Mount Holly · Follow estpndrooS53tmlhm11gl53uf347ccugl06c72205faul0h18197823819h9 · Solar summer 2025 ends today. What are we talking about, you may ask? Well, today marks the midpoint between the summer solstice and the autumnal equinox. The 3 months with the longest days are now over, and day length will steadily decrease from here.
  3. PA Weather Plus, LLC oprosSentdlacgaa1ha3i3a2u819ml5863lm8mt70hg12ahcgh131a77g0h6 · ** MUGGY METER UPDATE ** It's generally on up from here! Our humidity will be on the increase with our comfort on the decrease as we continue to push through the rest of the week, head into the weekend, and then into the beginning of next week. Next week is looking particularly warm and humid, with increasing dew point values & temperatures climbing into the upper-80s to low-90s, dangerous heat indices will be a concern in the afternoons once again (with daily storm chances). Summer is not over just yet- make the most out of it because we know we will all be complaining in just a few months! See less — in Pennsylvania.
  4. BRR.. .CLIMATE... The low temperature of 41 degrees was observed in Bradford on August 2nd, which tied the previous record set back in 1985. The low temperature of 47 degrees was observed in Altoona on August 3rd, which broke the previous record of 48 degrees set back in 1959.
  5. I'm sure these lower temps this morning will start to activate Blizz to soon release a premature snow map in 6 weeks.
  6. 51 here, been awhile since it was this low. I guess were headed toward that dreaded season of winter.
  7. Another bout of humidity to return? PA Weather Plus, LLC · Follow edStnsoopr1i1hlh5ac9chl6639hfch1h9au08fhf72hal0g9u78923m19a0 · As I have said, we are now in a new pattern for the next week or so. Dew point values will stay largely in the 40s to 50s, marking quite a change after we have been stuck in the 70s for much of July. Our humidity will being to creep up by the middle to end of next week, with widespread 65+ dew points possibly returning into the mid-60s, and possibly into the 70s after this time period. Stay tuned for updates! #PAwx #Summer #Humidity #August #Pennsylvania
  8. After this past bout of heat and high dewpoints, last night toward dark actually felt cool. Had .03 rain overnight which raises my yearly rain total to exactly 30.00 inches.
  9. Had a sprinkle of rain today. Thankful I didn't receive that heavy rain today
  10. But will it produce? A lot of us don't want it to.

  12. Yes I was inside that cell. Even almost 4 hours after the rain stopped and sun came back out, there is still water running. Coming out of the ground. The ground is saturated here. Hopefully I won't get much rain tomorrow. But if we get a few inches tomorrow it won't turn out good.
  13. Rainfall for the month of July (so far) 8.14, for the year 29.96
  14. Just had 2.71 rain from a thunderstorm that sat and back builded for over and hour. Rain rate was 3.57 at times during the downpour.. makes me worry what could happen tomorrow if we get heavy rain.
