  3. A nearly stationary lake effect snow band has set up in Clearfield, Centre, and Mifflin County this morning and has not moved much in the past 4 hours. If you are under this band of snow (outlined in black), be prepared for hazardous travel this morning

  11. I was wondering we were up at my wife's brother in law above Gratz. And it snowed up there over and inch in a squall that came through. When we got home our 1 German Shepherd that usually is on the porch of the house was out at the barn. The only time she goes to the barn is when she hears thunder or sees lightning.

In this band about 150 miles wide is 6-12 inches of snow which is 10 to 1 south of the axis and up to 20 to 1 north of it. Some 15-inch lollipops will occur. I do think there is room to shift north about 50 miles.
