  1. I have a friend who just spent a week in Jamaica. He posted last night that he got out of there before they shut down the airports. But he has some other friends that didn't make it off the island before they shutdown the airports, so they are stuck there.

Strong winds across the region are expected for most of the afternoon ahead of an approaching cold front. Sustained winds of 10 to 20 MPH out of the south will occasionally gust to between 30 and 40 MPH through this afternoon and into the evening. These winds are non-convective and will be separate from the line of gusty showers and thunderstorms anticipated for this afternoon along the cold front. There remains a marginal risk for severe storms this afternoon for most of central Pennsylvania. Strong winds can blow around loose and unsecured objects. Ensure that all outdoor decorations, furniture, and other objects are either secure or brought indoors. $$
  7. Wouldn't be something if Pennstate won all of their remaining regular season games and a few more top 10 teams lost? It seems anything can happen this season in college football.
  8. But if temps were border line through the storm and also the sun was out to at time during this nor'easter. Just how much snow would have been left to measure over the course of 3 days? We can only hope for a better outcome for this upcoming winter.
  9. .61 total rain from the 3 day nor'easter. If this were Winter, there would be a lot of disappointment Maybe that's what lies ahead for us.
