  1. Again I'm positive. We will see how things go. The damn gfs changes every 6 hours so who knows what it's going to spit out later on. Could be a rainstorm....
  2. Yeah we're the hell is our torch!? People been saying we we're going to torch since December.... Bullocks.
  3. One thing is apparent is that it's going to get freaking cold. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  4. The low is in a good place, plenty cold, and some upslope behind the front. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  5. This is freaking more like it. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  6. Shoot this run is showing 10 inches for Knoxville and 1 inch for Mt. Leconte? Yeah I don't think so.
  7. I'm calling bs on this run. There isn't even any upslope snow behind the front. Your telling me the flow stays SW as the isobars are NW?
  8. I have to laugh at this but look at this crap. Mountains get blanked on this run. This run is freaking hilarious. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  9. It's like the boundary gets caught up along the mountains. But this isn't the final solution so im not fretting.
  10. Because the northern jet just shreds everything and the mountains are actually working against us here.
  11. Looks like this run the gfs with the first system is nada.
  12. The wind is absolutely ripping currently. Some 20 to 30 mph gusts.
  13. Now it's completely calm out and we went from 37 back to 32... Must of been some kind of mountain wave event...
  14. Wow! The wind has cranked up this morning. An hour ago it was 22 degrees. Currently we are at a balmy 35 in 1 hour. That is impressive and the wind is whistling through the trees.
  15. It will but as I posted in our forum thread is that if we have a snowpack to our north and to our west and we get any meaningful snowfall even just an inch or two you can count on the temps to trend down....
  16. Especially with sub-zero temps night after night. This would cripple the state.
  17. I know one thing especially if we have snow to our north and to our west is that we are going to see a prolonged very cold snap with very cold temps. Look for temps to trend lower as we get closer to the cold fronts blasting through.
  18. Also another potential little system around the 19th. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  19. Yeah I saw that. The way the front is depicted that would be a big possibility. Freezing rain to snow in the piedmont, would be a freaking disaster for road conditions.
