  1. Woooo! Had a heavy frost this morning with a low of 30 degrees! Man what a 2 week pattern change. With this cold snap and freezing/frosty temps I do believe we can salvage our fall color this year and its not over yet...
  2. Had a low of 34 this morning but no frost with the constant wind. Tonight will be much different. What a pattern change from a few weeks ago.
  3. Temps are starting to come down here already with the wind really picking up.
  4. Another cool morning with a low of 38 again. Windows are open in the house and its 59 degrees lol. Love it.
  5. Yeah I posted in our thread but I had 38 this morning. Frost will be coming soon!
  6. Wooo! First 30s of the season! Had a beautiful low of 38 degrees this morning! Frost will be coming soon this week!
  7. Good morning! Boy this morning was cool and crisp! Had a low of 47 degrees. I am looking forward to even cooler nights this weekend.
  8. This would be about average for the high elevation areas for first flakes.
  9. A beautiful picture perfect day today! A high of 60 degrees with overcast weather all day. Temps down into the 50s and it's beautiful! Been waiting on this for a month!
  10. It looks like Thursday into Friday will be the transition day.
  11. We will finally cool down to near normal this weekend but what has my eye is the following mid week when a true cold front pushed much colder air in here. We need the cooler weather and more moisture and I think we will get both.
  12. If you love summer then don't worry it is going to stick around for a bit...
  13. We are expected to get some heavy rainfall here in the SW mountains. No surprise as we are continuing to run well above normal in precipitation this year alone. We are some 4 to 7 inches above normal already.
  14. Yeah hitting a lot of the hardest hit areas this past month.
  15. Nice man. Good to see you posting with this event coming up.
  16. You should be in a prime spot for this one. Actually I think most of the mountains could get a foot plus.
  17. I'm not saying it's too cold to snow. All im saying is we live in the SE. Historically in some of our coldest months ever they have been some of our least snowiest months around here. It is a well known fact that a lot of the big snowstorms we see around here we get with temps right around 30 degrees. Yes i have seen it snow around 0 degree but we did not get a foot of snow from that. Having such cold high pressure systems bearing down on the region is hurting our chances for snow as we have already seen with basically two systems disappearing.
  18. Lol she deleted one of my post telling Grit that the trends on the models where getting worse. I could care less. The too cold too snow and people trying to talk themselves into believing it will snow in there backyard are funny. Its like every new update is the same thing. Trough is sharper it looks better through about hour 54, Mack comes in BOOM we are going to have a great run then it just takes a nose dive!
  19. Why would it with massive high pressure building in. Have you not seen the extreme cold coming in?
