    Exactly. Banding/precip issues usually aren't pinned down until we're < 36 hours out anyway. Just keep the signal alive. Looks active (albeit cutter-ish) after this one, so we'll have chances going for a while afterwards.

    Pun intended? Seems like these bigger dogs can be flagged by guidance with significant lead time. Obviously, exact details TBD that can make a substantial impact in one's BY's sensible weather. No complaints from me though, especially given the last 6 weeks of winter doldrums.
